JoJo Journals wants everyone to be able to browse, buy and use our journals, planners and stickers, whatever tools or abilities they use. We are a small business and we are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on jojojournals.com.
What we have done so far
- Real, readable page text rather than text baked into images, including our homepage headline
- Descriptive alternative text on product and blog images
- Clear, plain-language labels on our contact form and checkout
- Keyboard-navigable menus, buttons and links, with visible focus states
- Sufficient colour contrast for text and buttons
- Pages that adapt to phone, tablet and desktop screens and to browser zoom up to 200%
Our digital products
Our journals and planners are sold as PDF files. Most are designed to be printed or used in a note-taking app, and many contain decorative or handwritten-style elements that screen readers may not read in order. If you need a product in a different format, or want to check whether a particular product will work for you before buying, email us and we will help.
Known limitations
- Some older blog images and product mockups may still have missing or incomplete alternative text; we are updating them as we find them
- Some third-party embeds (for example video or social-media feeds) are controlled by their providers and may not meet the same standard
- Product PDFs are not yet tagged for screen readers

If you have trouble using any part of the Site, or you need something in a different format, please tell us. Email hello@jojojournals.com or use our contact form, and let us know the page or product and what went wrong. We aim to reply within two business days.
Technical information
The Site is built on WordPress and WooCommerce and is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and with screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA and TalkBack. We review accessibility as part of every site update.
